Jacqueline Rabun is an interdisciplinary artist and the Founder and Creative Director of her eponymous independent luxury design house.
Recognised as one of the most influential voices in contemporary jewelry and design, Rabun has created a body of work distinguished by its poetic exploration of the human experience. Expressed through sculptural forms, precious metals, exceptional gemstones, and uncompromising craftsmanship, her creations explore universal themes of love, connection, transformation, vulnerability, protection, and renewal.
Born in Germany and raised in California, Rabun's creative sensibility has been shaped by a rich confluence of cultural influences, from modernist architecture and Scandinavian design to African aesthetics and the natural world. After moving to London in 1990, she launched her debut collection, Raw Elegance—a series of hand-sculpted organic forms that garnered immediate international acclaim and established the foundations of her distinctive visual language.
At the heart of Rabun's practice is a philosophy centred on emotional resonance and human connection. She approaches jewellery not as mere adornment, but as a talisman—an intimate object capable of carrying meaning and memory while offering strength, comfort, protection, and empowerment to the wearer. Through a continual process of refinement and reduction, Rabun seeks the purest expression of an idea, creating pieces that balance sculptural presence with emotional depth.
Mercy Earring, 2016
A meditation on organic and fluid forms.
"I have been obsessed with perfecting the forms of my Mercy collection for many years, it is a symbolic reminder of the need for more love and compassion in the world in physical form."
- Jacqueline Rabun
Fluid, organic, and grounded in a modernist sensibility,Rabun's signature aesthetic is characterised by graceful curves, sensual volumes, and a profound understanding of form. Her creations blur the boundaries between jewelry, sculpture, and art object, resulting in a body of work that feels simultaneously timeless and contemporary, minimal yet deeply expressive.
“The egg form is an important symbol in my work. It represents birth, the beginning of life. It embodies the unbreakable bond between mother and child, as well as the deeper connections and relationships that give meaning to our lives.”

“Jewelry is intimate. It holds meaning, memory and connection, becoming part of the person who wears it.”
